Duration: 7 Nights / 8 Days.
Destination: Cochin- Guruvayoor- Athramapalli falls- Munnar- Periyar- Kumarakom- Alleppey
Day 01: Cochin
On Arrival Cochin Airport/ Railway station you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our representative & later assisted for transfer to your hotel. Later in the afternoon after refresh up proceed for a half day city tour of Cochin. Cochin is in fact a collection of narrow islands & peninsulas. The city can be regarded as the commercial & industrial capital of kerala.
Day 02: Guruvayoor- Athramapalli falls
After Breakfast proceed to Guruvayoor, which is the most sacred and famous pilgrimage center of Kerala, visiting Sri Krishna temple 'Elephant Sanctuary' (Punnathur Kotta), Mural Painting, Kudakallu etc. Late in the evening return back to Cochin. Enjoy a tasteful dinner & over night stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Munnar
After Breakfast check out hotel and drive towards Munnar. Munnar is a small & a very beautiful hill station. Munnar was the favorite summer capital of the south during the British period. Munnar is breathtaking beautiful hill station in South India & also a centre of kerala premier tea growing town. Visitors can have a panoramic view of the verdant surroundings, flying clouds, mist filled valleys & forested hills from munnar. On arrival munnar check in the hotel & relax for the day. Enjoy delicious dinner & over night relax at the hotel.
Day 04: Munnar
After Breakfast proceed for a full day city tour of munnar visit Anaimudi, Christ church, Mattupetty lake, Fort munnar, Rajmalai, Devikulam, Marayoor, Kundalay Dam, Attukad water falls, Blossom park, Photo point, Echo point, Shooting point, Elephant arrival spot, Pothamedu view point etc. Have a tasteful dinner & over night relax at the hotel.
Day 05: Periyar
Periyar is also known as thekkady. It is nestled in the high ranges of Western Ghats in kerala, which are clothed in dense forests, evergreen surroundings Periyar is one of the world’s most ancient & natural environmental spot. Periyar wildlife sanctuary is the pride of kerala & a testimony to nature’s splendor & human innovation, which is located on the banks of the Periyar Lake at thekkady. On arrival Periyar check in to the hotel and later in the afternoon proceed for boating in Periyar Lake and wildlife sanctuary visit and return back to the hotel.
Day 06: Kumarakom
Af ter Breakfast check-out the hotel and drive towards Kumarakom. Kumarakom is the small village which is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom is an enchanting backwater destination. This small backwater world is a part of kuttanad region and is a picturesque world of backwater, thatched houseboats, cormorants, Chinese fishing nets & swaying palms. It offers unique boating, fishing & sight seeing opportunities. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the hotel & over night relax at the resort.
Day 07: Alleppey
After Breakfast check out the resort. Today you will be driven towards Alleppey. Allapuzha or Alleppey is one of the most exotic backwater sites of kerala & it is popularly known as ‘Venice of the East’. It is interlocked by a number of canals, lakes & lagoons. Alleppey is nestled in the Arabian sea & Vembanad Lake. While sailing down in a maze of lagoons, canals & lakes one can feel the natural beauty of kerala villages, coconut palms, green surroundings, lush paddy fields & many more. Over night relax in the houseboat.
Day 08: Cochin
After Breakfast disembark the house boat. Today you will be driven towards Cochin. On arrival Cochin drop at Airport /Railway station to board your onwards destination Flight or Train. .
