Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, Saffrons of India representative greets and transfers to your pre-booked luxury hotel. Freshen up and relax. Enjoy welcome dinner at the hotel. Have a comforting overnight stay at hotel.
Day02: Delhi
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, proceed to full day sightseeing tour of Delhi City including Old and New Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the Cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Visit the grand mughal monument Red Fort. Enjoy rickshaw ride form Red Fort to Chandani Chowk seeing colorful bustling local bazaars. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar – the longest brick tower in the world. Visit the India Gate (War Memorial Arch). Visit the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb. Visit the Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also visit the Parliament House, President House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connought Place. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra visiting on th e way the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. See here historical sites like Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Upon arrival in Agra, Saffrons of India representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Later proceed to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – the symbol of eternal love. Built in white marble this monument was built by mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is India’s star tourist attraction and a world heritage monument. It is also one of Seven Wonders of the World. This beautiful love monument has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. See the pristine beauty of Taj Mahal at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Delhi – Departure
In the morning again visit the Taj Mahal and see the splendor of this monument at sunrise. La ter visit the grand Agra Red Fort. Also visit the beautiful Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb built by Empress Noorjahan in the memory of her father. This monument is often described as the Baby Taj Mahal or Little Taj Mahal. Its interiors are even considered as more beautiful than of Taj Mahal. Later drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel for change, wash and relax. After a farewell dinner, Saffrons of India transfers to the New Delhi International Airport in time to board flight for your home/onward destination.
