Day 1 : Arrival in Chennai
On arrival at Chennai Saffrons of India representatives will give you a warm welcome in traditional South Indian style and transfer to the hotel. After some rest proceed for the local sight seeing of Chennai. Visit popular places like Gandhi Memorial, KalaKshetra, Mylapore temple, Marina beach, etc. Later return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 2 : Chennai – Tirupati – Chennai
Have your breakfast at early morning and proceed for the full day excursion of Tirupati. The place is famous for Tirupati Temple which is one of the oldest and richest temples of India. Visit famous Tirupati Temple and other popular places. Later return back to Chennai. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 3 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mamallapuram
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram. It is also famous as city of thousand temples. Visit some very old and popular temples like Ekambaswara, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy. After excursionof Kanchipuram proceed to Mamallapuram. On arrival, check-in into the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 4 : Mamallapuram – Tiruvannamalai – Pondicherry
Have your hearty breakfast at hotel. Later drive to Tiruvannamalai, famous for ancient temple of Lord Shiva. After excursion of Tiruvannamalai, drive to Pondicherry. On arrival our representative will receive you and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 5 : Pondicherry
Have delicious breakfast at hotel. Later proceed for the full day excursion of Pondicherry. Visit Aurbindo Ashram famous as yoga and meditation centre and Auroville a place where men and women of all nationalities and religions live together in harmony. Later return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 6 : Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Tanjore
After breakfast drive to Tanjore, en route visit Nataraja Temple at Chidambaram. The temple complex covered approximately 40 acres of area. On arrival at Tanjore our representative will receive you and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 7 : Tanjore - Trichy
After breakfast drive to Trichy, it is a popular historical place and pilgrimage centre of South India. En route visit famous Ranganath Temple at Srirangam. Later continue drive to Trichy. On arrival, check-in into the hotel. After some refreshment proceed for the local sightseeing of Trichy. Visit Rock fort and temple,Srirangam and Jambukeshwar temples and other popular places. Later return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight willbe at the hotel.
Day 8 : Trichy - Madurai
After hearty breakfast, drive to Madurai. On arrival Saffrons of India representative will receive you and transfer to airport. After some refreshment proceed for the local sightseeing of Madurai. Visit major attractions of Madurai including Sree Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum and Mariamman Teppakulam. Later return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 9 : Madurai – Rameshwaram – Madurai 
After breakfast proceed for the full day tour of Rameshwaram. It is regarded as one of the most sacred cities in India. Visit popular Ramanathaswamy Temple. Later return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 10 : Madurai - Trivandrum
After breakfast drive to Trivandrum. On arrival our representative will receive you and transfer to hotel. Enjoy the free time. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 11 : Trivandrum – Kanyakumari – Trivandrum
After breakfast proceed for the full day excursion of Trivandrum and Kanyakumari. Major attractions of these two cities are Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thanumalayan temple and Sthanumalayan Kovil. Later return back to Trivandrum. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 12 : Trivandrum
Have your farewell breakfast at hotel. Later Saffrons of India representatives will transfer you to airport for your onward journey. |
